i don't talk about my past much, especially catholic school but i felt it was worth mentioning now. a few years ago one of my softball coaches past away, back when i was still at matt's. he left behind a daughter that was the grade above me and his wife, both active in our community. i never knew if she had any other siblings because honestly i was only associated with colleen and her dad through softball. colleen was nice to me a few times and that's enough to earn merit in my book. i remember when her dad passed away and it was one of the few times that i saw my parish actually show that they had feelings, it was a loss felt by everyone. he was an awesome guy and did A LOT for his community. i found out today that colleen died, i'm not grieving or anything like that, but her life should be acknowledged. she was one of the few people i met at matt's that wasn't a complete asshole and i feel for her mom being the only survivor, her husband and daughter dying within 5-10 years of each other.
