soaka!

walked from city hall to school today with paula, it was nice and calm. such a hectic weekend and it was nice to unwind and just chat with someone. when we got to school we decided to watch american history x, and it's been a while since a movie has actually made me think.

i then went out with the koreans for lunch. i miss them a lot, and the feeling of utter confusion when they talk to each other in korean. i may watch some kdramas but i can only pick out a word here and there. korean is a language i REALLY want to learn, not just because of the dramas or because i get paranoid when they break out in korean, mainly because i love how the words ooze together and how they seem to have emotions you couldn't possibly project with english. maybe i just have an overly-romanticized view of the language because of dramas but i think i'm committed to this learning korean plan.

well after lunch we went to borders where i ran into emily and walked around with her for a while. i ended up in washington square watching people throw a football around. i love sitting in the park, with having every option to be active but still sitting around watching others be active.

i then went home.

I love when they speak English on the dramas. It's so cute.

american history x is such a painful movie.

my cousins are korean&white and my baby cousin can sing korean lullabies and when she did it out of nowhere it was so freakin adorable and the language sounded so beautiful, even coming off of a clumsy toungue of a 5 year old.
