tetris

http://www.citypaper.net/articles/032196/article038.shtml

i told you people i wasn't nuts. earlier this year first quarter
i had honors. earlier this year first quarter i also had a
functioning cell phone with the tetris application installed.
my phone started to break due to the amount of tetris i play,
and so my grades went down. then my phone was killed
thanks to harbringer of destruction and my grades seriously
took a nosedive. i played tetris for the entire time i was on
public transportation, first starting out due to the competitive
relationship between steve and i, then after i killed his score
and it was clear he would never beat my godly status, i still
played determined to keep beating my own score. when
my phone functioned i literally had to charge my phone
at least twice a day due to the amount of tetris played on it,
and unlike any kind of drug or radical study habits i had
tried before, i was focused and i could concentrate. this is
why i believe that buying tetris on ds is now worth the $26.

Link is tl;dr, but the subject matter has inspired me to put off homework in order to beat my old Metroid 2 record. Thanks.

You'll never beat my record of 45 minutes.

Whoah, time warp: I meant an hour and 45 minutes. That's much more beatable.

As soon as I get some AAA batteries, that record is toast.

Why do I not seem to recall this?
