books!

i finally have it, it cost me $20 and a nerve-wrecking search through barnes and noble, but i now have The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. i now have to balance my time between this and tis', because tis' has to be back at the library in about three weeks. i'm so glad i have this book now. after this i'm going to work on acquiring other paulo coelho books. the portobello witch and the alchemist were amazing, so maybe his others will folow suit. until then, i need jeans, desperately. not specifically jeans, just pants in general. i destroyed them all. i had fun the last few days, they were nice except for the abundance of rain. friday saw a half day, a long walk in the rain, sandwiches, wonder pets, attempts at watching a movie, and a girlysleepover. saturday was spent waking up, sitting at a bus stop for about an hour, being denied by the stupid attendant at the 2nd street el stop, walking from there to spring garden to meet up with my brother who kindly lent me $3 to get home, rushing home, cashing my check, working, hanging with steve and mike afterward, and going to sleep early. today i just went to drexel to check stuff out, got a shirt, the book, and went to work. i really can't wait for the shore house thing angela's mom is planning, it's about a month away.
